With Paresh Rawal's schedule clearing up after exiting Hera Pheri 3, will OMG 3 mark his re-entry into the franchise with Akshay Kumar?

Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal had brought us OMG - Oh My God. This gave birth to a franchise film which Akshay took forward with Pankaj Tripathi. Now that the Welcome actor has wrapped up Bhooth Bangla, he could be in talks for OMG 3. Interestingly, there might be slight opportunity that Akshay and Paresh Rawal collaborate on the movie again. Here's why we think so...

Pankaj Tripathi is busy shooting in his hometown and thus, OMG 3 might not fit in his schedule. On the other hand, Paresh Rawal might have cleared his schedule if he is really out of Hera Pheri 3. This means that if Akshay and Paresh Rawal cannot come back as Raju and Shyam, they might reunite for OMG 3. However, nobody except Akshay is almost confirmed for the cast so far.
According to a report on Pinkvilla, Amit Rai discussed OMG 3 with Akshay Kumar right after the actor wrapped up Bhooth Bangla. They have decided to take new routes, but wish to start work on it by 2026 itself. "Following the success of OMG and OMG 2, the stakes are high and the makers are keen to make a third part. It is a big responsibility and hence, they are in no hurry to just rush through the process of OMG 3," a source was quoted saying. Interestingly, Akshay already has two more films in the pipeline before starting work on OMG 3.

Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal's collaboration films go a long way. They had worked together in Bhagam Bhag and Hera Pheri franchise, to name a few. The actors are a part of Priyadarshan's Bhooth Bangla as well as Ahmed Khan's Welcome To The Jungle (after Welcome Back). The actors would have been in Hera Pheri 3 too, but like Akshay Kumar at one point of time, currently Paresh Rawal has stepped out of the franchise. This leaves scope of them collaborating once again, if they both agree to it. However, none of the actors have confirmed anything so far and thus, we would have to wait and see how things unfold.
