Akshay Kumar drags Paresh Rawal to court

Akshay Kumar was questioned over Paresh Rawal's Hera Pheri 3 exit. The actor-producer of the film had sued his co-star over losses incurred. In response, Akshay refused to comment too much. Calling it a very serious matter, he said, "I don't think I'm going to speak about it here because this is a matter which will be handled in the court." Akshay also recalled how he and Paresh Rawal collaborated on movies for 30 long years and called him a great actor, whom he admires. However, the actor also assured that he would not appreciate a word against his other co-star.

Akshay Kumar sues Paresh Rawal, the response

As one of the producers of Hera Pheri 3, Akshay Kumar sued Paresh Rawal and demanded Rs. 25 crore over losses incurred with the actor's sudden exit from the movie mid-way. Paresh Rawal, with the help of his lawyer, announced that he has repaid his remuneration of Rs. 11 lakh with interest and some additional fees. The lawyer's statement also clarified that the lack of clarity (final script) is what caused the veteran actor to leave the project.

Paresh Rawal announces his exit from Hera Pheri 3

Paresh Rawal had announced his exit from Hera Pheri 3 when a media portal contacted him over the news. The initial reports suggested creative differences between Rawal and director Priyadarshan. The actor clarified that those are just speculations and that he holds Priyadarshan in high respect. Soon after, news about a rift with Akshay Kumar was speculated. Just then, Akshay sent his Welcome co-star the legal notice. Currently, Hera Pheri 3's future remains uncertain with one of the central characters quitting the movie mid-way.
