Akshay Kumar getting reviews for high-octane Jayan stunt in Sooryavanshi, Amitabh Bachchan warns the actor

Akshay Kumar has been receiving loaded reviews for the daring Jayan stunt he performed in Sooryavanshi. The dangerous chopper stunt is discussed by many, even in the Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 show, in which Akshay and Katrina Kaif made an appearance with Rohit Shetty.

The Sooryavanshi team took part in the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show as a part of their movie promotion. Amidst the talks, a clip from the movie was shown and Rohit explained the risk the actor took. The scene portrays Akshay stepping to a helicopter from the bike during a fight. The director revealed the bike was originally planned to be harnessed, else he would fall. Akshay was directed to hold the ramp of the chopper, after which the shot was cut and resumed after the harness.

But, unfortunately, the pilot took off with Akshay hanging on the chopper without the harness. Everyone was left wondering about what was happening and startled. What could have possibly turned to a huge danger, however, didn't turn to one.

Bachchan was quite impressed after listening to the experience, yet he warned Akshay against trying such stunts again. The latter agreed to it and said it was stupidity. Bachchan also recalled similar scenes he was supposed to perform in his 80s movie Dostana.

The audience would certainly have been reminded of Malayalam superstar Jayan, after seeing the scene. The superstar of the 80s is remembered for the daredevil stunt sequences without a stunt double. The unfortunate incident led him to death while attempting a helicopter fight scene for the PN Sundaram movie Kolilakkam. The helicopter got crashed to the ground, which turned out to be a shocking accident then.
