Discipline has always played an important role in Akshay Kumar's life, and he recently stressed its significance. When asked about the lack of discipline, early mornings, and late arrivals on sets that other movie stars regularly exhibit, the actor humorously stated that he doesn't want to be a "star" who comes out at night. He likes to compare himself to the early rising sun. Akshay continued by pointing to Sania Mirza as an example of someone who has succeeded by sticking to a regimen and never giving up. He complained that reporters would probe him about his early bedtime routine, but the proper inquiry would be to find out why other people slumber so late.
During their interview at the Republic Plenary Summit, the host questioned Akshay about his habits, namely how other movie stars wake up in the afternoon, arrive late to shoots, and struggle with discipline. The actor responded by stating that becoming a star is not his ultimate goal in life. During the night, the stars emerge; thus, imagine him as the sun. He would rather not take centre stage.

Akshay went on to say that discipline is key to success and used Mirza as an example and said that she is quite the athlete. Her service to the nation has been truly remarkable, and she spoke about how crucial self-control is. Enquire as to how she got where she is and if self-control was an issue, Akshay said that just can't happen. She needed self-control; she couldn't sleep in and play tennis all day. Discipline is really crucial.
Akshay continued by stating that during his childhood, everyone arrived at school promptly. Still, he fails to grasp the logic behind the universality of change as a result of human maturation. Additionally, he vented his frustrations with people always wanting to know why he gets up and goes to bed so early.
The most frustrating part is that many news outlets often enquire, "Sir, why do you sleep so early?" The actor said that they suppose they should enquire as to the reason for the person's excessive slumber. That is the right question to ask, but circumstances have changed. Akshay summed up by saying that changing this is crucial.
