Akshay Kumar sends Twinkle Khanna off to Uni: Parents go to drop their kids, I am going to drop my wife

Known for her witty one-liners and dark humour, author Twinkle Khanna is all set to go back to college: this time to get her masters degree in fiction writing from the coveted Goldsmiths, University of London.

And her superstar husband Akshay Kumar couldn't be more proud. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the actor went to drop her off to seen London and was seen leaving the country yesterday along with children Aarav and Nitara.

"People go off to drop their kids to college. I’m going to drop my wife to the University of London as she goes to do her Masters in Fiction Writing," quipped Kumar according to the same media report. 

For the unversed, Twinkle Khanna is a celebrated Indian author who has written best-selling books, such as, Mrs Funnybones, Pyjamas are Forgiving and The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad.

After dropping her off to pursue her literary dreams, Akshay will be with the rest of his family on a short break, away from work, to ring in his 55th birthday on September 9. Twinkle, meanwhile, will stay back in London to finish her course while her superstar husband returns to India.
