Tentatively titled Start Up, Akshay Kumar and Suriya starrer project will be released on July 12. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Vikram Malhotra.
According to a report published on Pinkvilla on Monday evening, the working title of the film is Start Up, and the makers are set to unveil the new title along with a video asset soon. Initially scheduled for release on February 16, the film's arrival has been rescheduled to coincide with the post-T-20 World Cup window. Sources told the news outlet that the film is rich in content and requires a clear release window. Thus, July 12 has been chosen as the ideal date for its release, ticking all the boxes that the team was aiming for.
Pinkvilla reported that the title of the film we are talking about is yet to be decided. It is the Hindi remake of the South Indian actor Suriya's film 'Soorarai Pottru', which enjoyed considerable success at the box office and emerged as a hit. Suriya will also make an appearance alongside Akshay Kumar in the Hindi adaptation. Reports suggest that Suriya is set to play a cameo role in this film, while Akshay Kumar will be in the lead role.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is eagerly looking forward to the theatrical release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. This film is slated to be released in April this year and the date is likely to coincide with the festival of Eid. Alongside Akshay, Tiger will also be seen in a titular role.
