Meenakshi Chaudhary shared that she enjoyed watching Bhagam Bhag and hoped that something along the lines came her way. She turned down various projects, which led her closer to bagging the sequel, more so as the female lead. “I feel like it came at a time when I was looking for something exactly like this. I was looking for scripts that families would enjoy, and having seen the first part when I was younger, I loved it. So getting to be a part of this feels like it arrived at the perfect time when I was searching for something like this,” she shared.

The female actor was not keen on the other projects, story-wise. Bhagam Bhag felt different because she was certain it is ‘pure laughter.’ Asserting that no matter the language, people will enjoy the film, Meenakshi said, “I feel like no matter what age you are or what language you come from, this storyline and character will connect with you.”

Confessing she is a fan of Akshay Kumar’s comedy movies, Meenakshi said she is going to be a student on sets and learn the genre from the actor. “For me, I think I am just going to be the biggest student on set, like how chelas are around a guru, just following whatever they say. I think I am going to be that on this set and absorb everything I can from him. Not every day do you get an opportunity to work with someone as amazing as he is in his craft,” she affirmed, while stating that the actor knows his craft well. She learned the same during their film narration.

While spilling some more details, Meenakshi shared that Akshay will take some time to commence Bhagam Bhag 2. “I think he is currently busy working on something else, and once that is done he will jump onto our project. I cannot wait to be on set with the rest of the crew,” she shared, while also praising director Raaj Shaandilyaa’s comic timing.
