Akshay Kumar–starrer Welcome to the Jungle recreates dense forests in Mumbai for high-octane climax - All you need to know

Welcome To The Jungle is one of the most anticipated third instalments of the Welcome Franchise. The film has been getting significant attention from fans ever since it was announced. However, the film has already faced significant postponements and production delays. Now, a report shared an update on the Welcome to the Jungle shoot and when it is expected to wrap.

Mid-Day reported that director Ahmed Khan has started shooting for the climax in five locations - Film City, Royal Palms, Borivali and two locations in Aarey Colony. The production team, led by Shailesh Mahadik, created sets depicting forest scenes. Originally, it was scheduled to film the climax in the forests of Uttar Pradesh.

“But the biting cold was a deterrent. Plus, the production team realised it’d be logistically impractical to shoot in the forests with a 34-member cast and 500-strong unit. Given the kind of stunts involved, Ahmed and producer Firoz A Nadiadwala decided to relocate the shoot to Mumbai," the source revealed. 

After this is completed, the director will travel to North India to take extensive shots in the jungle. Ahmed Khan told the portal, “It’s wonderful that we’re shooting the climax now. Getting so many actors together was the only challenge, but once on set, it’s a party.” Meanwhile, the filming of an introduction song with the entire cast will be done in the second week of January, after which it will be wrapped up.
