Remember Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s U-Turn? The film had a supernatural twist and one which you wouldn’t be expecting. The movie did not work well at the Box Office but the critics praised Samantha’s performance nonetheless. Now, Alaya F plays the lead role in the Hindi remake of the film.

The actress was promoting the movie in London. There, she called out everyone who took a U-Turn. She educated people on how dangerous it is to take a U-Turn.

“Inka licence cancel karvaana chahiye because honestly they just don’t learn. I just can’t deal with this behaviour,” she said in the video.

The actress pleaded to her followers to not take illegal U-turns and be good citizens. Netizens, however, were not too pleased and asked her to wear a seatbelt.

U-Turn is originally a 2016 Kannada film starring Shraddha Srinath in the lead role. The remake starred Samantha in the lead role and was shot in Tamil as well as Telugu. The film released in 2018. It was also remade in Malayalam in 2017 as Careful. The Bengali version of the film released in 2021 as Flyover.

Apart from India, U-Turn was remade in Sinhala and Filipino. The movie released in 2019 and 2020 respectively. U-Turn was the first Indian movie to be remade in Filipino.

The film is about accidents that take place on a particular flyover. The interesting part is that everybody who gets in the accident has broken a traffic rule i.e. taken an illegal U-Turn. A police inspector and an intern journalist gather to find out the whole truth. The supernatural element in the movie plays a huge part in the story.

The Hindi version of U-Turn is being backed by Ekta Kapoor. It will release on Zee5 directly.
