Ever since the time the prolific film maker Karan Johar had launched the inimitable Alia Bhatt in the Gen-Z romantic film ‘Student Of The Year, there has been no looking back for the film’s three lead stars- Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Speaking of Alia Bhatt, in her career that spans more than 10 years, she has not just been a part of many superhot films, but also has been a recipient of many awards and recognitions.
This time round, Alia Bhatt has simply surpassed everyone’s expectations by featuring in the Variety's ‘Impactful International Women of 2023’. The inimitable Alia Bhatt not just got featured in the prestigious list, but, also became the only Bollywood actor in the said list!

Alia Bhatt took to Instagram story and shared a screenshot of the report. The said list includes women achievers from different sections of the showbiz industry who have delivered superlative work in the recent times. Alia Bhatt, who was named by ‘Variety’ for her work in the prolific filmmaker SS Rajamouli's by-now-cult film ‘RRR’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's hard-hitting ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. Alia Bhatt reportedly told the publication, “There’s always that one film that’ll transcend language and leave its mark in people’s hearts."
Besides Alia Bhatt, the others who made it to the list include the Spanish singer Rosalia alongwith Milly Alcock, Emily Carey, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy and Sonoya Mizuno amongst others.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt was recently seen exhibiting her superlative acting prowess in films like Brahmastra (which had Ranbir Kapoor as her co-star), Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘Darlings’ (which also happened to be her maiden production venture) and the by-now-cult film ‘RRR’, which had been directed by SS Rajamouli and had Ram Charan and NTR junior as her co-stars.
Alia Bhatt is now super busy with the shooting of Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ (with Ranveer Singh as the leading man alongwith veteran actors like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in all-important roles. Besides ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, Alia Bhatt also has ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
Besides ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ and ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, Alia is also having the release of her debut Hollywood film ‘Heart of Stone’, in which she plays the role of Keya Dhawan. This film sees Alia Bhatt sharing screen space with Hollywood actors including Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, Paul Ready, Jing Lusi and others.
