Alia Bhatt describes Ranbir Kapoor as the ‘light of my life’ as he dances to Brahmāstra's Deva Deva

Alia Bhatt shared a new video that has Ranbir Kapoor shaking a leg to the track Deva Deva from their upcoming movie Brahmāstra. The duo, who are expecting her first child, are currently on their ‘babymoon’ in Italy.

The vacation vibe was evident in the video with Ranbir sporting an all-blue ensemble, with a pair of cool sunglasses that shielded his eyes from the bright weather.

Sharing the video, Alia called Ranbir "the light of my life" and used a bunch of fire emoticons, referring to his role in the movie. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Ranbir's sister, commented with a number of red heart emojis. There was also a flurry of fan reaction to the video on Alia's comments section as well.

Ranbir will portray the character of Shiva aka Agni Astra in Brahmāstra while Alia plays his love interest Isha. The film, helmed by Ayan Mukerji, also marks Alia and Ranbir's first onscreen collaboration. It was also during the filming of the movie that the actors fell in love. After over five years of dating, Alia and Ranbir got married in April 2022. They shared the news of Alia's pregnancy two months after their intimate wedding.

Alia surprised everyone in June as she posted a photograph of herself and Ranbir Kapoor after a sonography session. “Our baby ….. coming soon,” she captioned the image, where a beaming Alia, seated next to Ranbir, looks at the sonography display.

In an interview with Prabhat Khabar, the Student Of The Year actress talked about how Ranbir has been supportive throughout her pregnancy. “He always takes good care of me. Now, he is even more careful. If you want to ask whether he massages my feet, he does not. But he does many things to make me feel special. Now, he does more of that,” she said.
