Alia Bhatt got married to Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the same week: Karan Johar

The lives of celebrities are full of surprises! In a press meet held in Mumbai today, popular filmmaker Karan Johar, who is basking under the success of his directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, revealed that Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt got married to superstar Ranbir Kapoor (in real life) and then superstar Ranveer Singh (in the reel life) in the same week.

Speaking candidly with the media persons today, Karan Johar thanked everyone for the success of the movie. He even launched the most-awaited soundtrack of the film, Kudmayi, at the press meet.

Johar expressed, “Alia aur Ranbir ki shaadi hui thi. Aur phir 4 din baad, humne Kudmayi (song) ka sequence shoot kiya tha. Toh Alia ne uss hafte do baar shaadi ki thi. So, she got married both in real and reel life.”

Karan Johar even confessed that the mehendi donned by Alia Bhatt in the song, Kudmayi, is from her real wedding. Johar even appreciated popular choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant for assisting him in creating this beautiful song.

“The mehendi, seen in the hands of Alia, is from her actual wedding. Humne Kudmayi Jaisalmer main shoot kiya. Vaibhavi Merchant ne khoobsoorati se use picturise kiya,” Karan Johar added.

Interestingly, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer song, Kudmayi, from the movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani dropped today in which Alia as Rani and Ranveer as Rocky were seen as an ideal couple – who were preparing to get married in the reel life.

Alia and Ranveer, both together, tied the knot in the reel life. In reality, Alia Bhatt is happily married to Ranbir Kapoor whereas Ranveer Singh is happily married to superstar Deepika Padukone.

So far, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has minted over Rs 67 crores at the box office.
