Alia Bhatt interviews Sanjay Leela Bhansali; Ranveer Singh crashes the conversation

Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiwadi was released almost two weeks ago and has been gathering immense love and appreciation from the critics as well as the people since then. Not only in the country but the fans around the globe have also applauded the actress' performance as well as Sanjay Leela Bhansali's direction. The director who is known to avoid interviews has recently been seen having a candid chat with Alia about their latest outing.

The Highway actress shared the video, where she can be seen interviewing Bhansali. The video begins with Alia welcoming the filmmaker and thanking him for letting her do the interview. The director replies, "In 25 years of my life, this is the most exciting interview because my heroine is interviewing me and Alia was a baby when I first met her and now she is here interviewing me. And now you're the superstar of this nation, who is interviewing me, so it's a great honour for me, darling!"

Moving on, the actress dropped a lot of personal and professional questions to the filmmaker. Alia asked if he believes in destiny and believes that he was meant to find this story, to which the latter replied, "I firmly believe that I have some creative angels, who are constantly protecting me and surrounding me. So if I want to make Gangubai, a little book comes into my hand, then after 7 years, I'll end up making the film. Me being born in the area of Kamathipura and knowing that world to be able to make this film. A soul chooses the way we have to be born."

In the end, as Alia was about to ask a question to the director from Ranveer Singh, the actor suddenly came crashing the set and mentioned that he could have let go of this opportunity to be with both of them together.
