The daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, Alia, is soon going to make a debut in Hollywood with the film Heart of Stone starring Gal Gagot in the lead role. This film will be released on Netflix.
While Alia’s first Hollywood film is yet to be released on Netflix, her fans today morning spotted her at the Mumbai airport and wondered whether the 30-year-old is jetting off to an undisclosed location abroad to promote the Netflix film.
To this development, Alia Bhatt has responded with a sweet post. Taking to Instagram, Alia Bhatt updated her fans that she is on her way to attend Tudum: A Global Fan Event, live streaming from São Paulo, Brazil. This event will begin tomorrow and can also be viewed on Netflix. It is likely to feature the first looks of various Netflix series, specials, and movies that are slated to be released globally.
In the post, Alia wrote, “No heart of stone here… just one filled with love… enroute #Tudum #SãoPaulo.” The Bollywood beauty even attached a picture of herself in which she flashed a cute smile for all her fans and well-wishers.
Soon after this update, netizens now seem convinced that she is on her way to promote Zoya Akhtar’s directorial, The Archies.
Earlier, on June 2, a report by ETimes also hinted that Alia Bhatt is likely to fly to Brazil to promote Zoya Akhtar’s directorial The Archies. Well, only time will tell whether this development holds true.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia will next be featuring in ace filmmaker Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani opposite actor Ranveer Singh. This film is scheduled to be released on July 28.
