Alia Bhatt loved to watch a dating show
Speaking to Allure, Alia Bhatt discussed in depth how she took care of her skin by herself, especially during the lockdown in India. She said, “Through the lockdown, I became very self-reliant when it came to removing hair from my body and my face. Literally, I would spend hours watching a show.”
The 30-year-old Bollywood diva quickly tried to recollect the name of the show. “There is this show. I used to watch it. It is a random show. I used to spend three hours watching that show, while waxing myself. It was really fun. I would sit on a towel on the floor and wax (my hair) away. The show is ‘Too Hot To Handle’. That’s the show.”
Alia further shared how her sister, Shaheen, would react whenever she caught Alia watching the show. “My sister would walk in (my room) and I would be like.... (give an amused expression). She would say ‘What are you doing? This is not... what is this visual?”

Too Hot to Handle is a British reality dating game show produced by Fremantle's Talkback and Thames production companies. Conceived by Laura Gibson and Charlie Bennett, the inaugural eight-episode season hit Netflix on April 17, 2020. These individuals share a house for four weeks, navigating through various workshops while strictly prohibited from kissing, sexual contact, or self-gratification. Monetary prizes decrease for each rule broken.
In January 2021, the show was renewed for two additional seasons, both filmed consecutively on the Turks and Caicos Islands amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
