Alia Bhatt on Koffee With Karan 7: I am very good friends with Ranbir Kapoor's exes, love them both

On the inaugural edition of Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan Season 7, Alia Bhatt said that some of Ranbir Kapoor's ex-girlfriends are her friends and that they all adore her.

In their odd rapid-fire exchange with the actor, Karan questioned, "Which statement sums you up better? How to stay friends with an ex? Or how to stay friends with your partner's ex?"

The Raazi actor pondered for a moment before responding that she considers ways to maintain a friendship with a partner's ex. Ranbir's ex-wife and she are very, very good friends. Alia adores them both, and the others, although she's not familiar with them.

Ranbir Kapoor dated Deepika Padukone during the initial days of their career and Katrina Kaif for nearly six years before starting a relationship with Alia Bhatt. The Dear Zindagi actor and Katrina have a strong friendship and will be collaborating on Farhan Akhtar's upcoming road trip movie, Jee Le Zara.

The Koffee With Karan season 7 debut episode was full of energy and fun, and fans' positive responses to Karan's conversations with the Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani ensemble were widely shared on social media.

Ranveer defeated his Gully Boy co-star to win the large gift hamper, receiving 71% of the votes cast by the live audience watching them compete in the rapid-fire round. The Badrinath Ki Dulhania star defeated Ranveer in the buzzer round.

Meanwhile, talking about Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the film marks the first outing of Ranveer with KJo as a director, and the filmmaker helmed Alia's debut film, Student of the Year, in 2012. The romantic film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in supporting roles. The shooting of the film is yet to be completed, and it's set to hit the screens in February 2023.
