Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor pregnancy: Here’s how the actress will tackle her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone

A few weeks ago, Ranbir Kapoor had opened up about him and Alia Bhatt soon gearing up to take a break from work. With the duo announcing their pregnancy, the break seems to be imminent. But that wouldn’t stop the two from fulfilling their work commitments that include the promotions of their big budget fantasy adventure Brahmastra, which is set to release on September, as well as Alia’s ongoing Hollywood debut film Heart of Stone.

While Ranbir will also be busy promoting Shamshera, Alia too has her hands full with Darlings set to release on Netflix soon. On how she plans to tackle Heart of Stone, which is being shot in London, a source close to the actress told Bollywoodlife that she will continue shooting for the film, which also has Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, as her pregnancy phase has just begun and there’s no reason for her to put off work.

The actress has apparently already planned the promotions of Darlings, which also has Shefali Shah, Vijay Verma and Roshan Mathew as her co-stars. Alia will be an integral part of the promotions of the film, which is expected to drop in August this year and will also allot dates later in the month for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which is set to hit theatres on September 9. The source said that Alia will not be putting those plans on hold as she would only be in her middle phase of pregnancy in September.

Meanwhile, Ranbir had earlier said that the duo had jetted off to work soon after their wedding on April 14 and are looking forward to spending time together after Alia returned from Heart of Stone’s shoot in London. The actor is also awaiting the release of Shamshera, which will release in theatres worldwide on July 22.
