According to a new survey on Ormax Media, Alia remains the most popular Bollywood actress. She ruled 2022 through Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. The movie, which released in theatres, opened to great Box Office collections and is the first major hit since the pandemic. Of course, other films like The Kashmir Files and RRR followed soon after.

Alia is also in news because of her upcoming wedding to Ranbir Kapoor. She is the actress who is in news because she managed to bring Ranbir to a point that he ties the knot with her.

While Alia ranked first, Deepika Padukone followed soon after. The actress made headlines for her movie, Gehraiyaan. Directed by Shakun Batra, the film received a mixed response from the audiences in India.

Katrina Kaif, last seen in Sooryavanshi, came third on the list. She is also awaiting the release of Tiger 3 with Salman Khan. Katrina also made headlines earlier in the year after she tied the knot with Vicky Kaushal in December 2021.

Mimi famed actress Kriti Sanon ranked fourth on the list. She was most recently seen in Akshay Kumar’s film, Bachchhan Paandey. Unfortunately, the movie was a huge flop at the Box Office.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is going to be seen in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, was among the top five most popular Bollywood actresses. Shraddha Kapoor and Shershaah actress Kiara Advani followed suit.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas ranked at the eight position. Her last Indian film was 2021’s release, The White Tiger. Disha Patani came ninth on the list and unfortunately, Anushka Sharma, who is gearing up for Chakda Xpress, which is a biopic on former Indian cricket team captain, Jhulan Goswami.
