Alia Bhatt goes ‘kesariya’ for her baby shower, celebrates with Akanksha Ranjan, Karisma Kapoor – see pics

Alia Bhatt was spotted at her baby shower recently. The actress donned a ‘kesariya’ outfit for the occasion. Alia was also seen covering her belly with her kesari dupatta.

In one of the most viral photos, Alia could be seen posing with her sister Shaheen Bhatt and her BFF Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor. Akanksha had posted the photo minutes after it was clicked.

Alia also spent time with the Kapoor family and was seen especially bonding with Karisma Kapoor at the ceremony. Her husband Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also posed with Alia in the group photo and separately. Neetu Kapoor also joined the celebrations.

Ranbir Kapoor was also seen at the baby shower. While Alia wore a kesari coloured Indian ethnic wear, Ranbir was seen in a peach kurti with silver sleeves.

Alia and Ranbir got married on April 14, 2022. The two tied the knot at their home, where they were living together for the longest time.

The actors were seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra for the first time. They set the Box Office records with their movie. Currently, Brahmastra is the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022.

Ranbir and Alia actually fell in love on the sets of Brahmastra. The movie had been in the making for almost 10 years. It was one of the films affected by COVID-19.

Now, Ranbir and Alia are expecting their first baby. Alia had officially announced about their child on June 27, 2022. The announcement caused a stir on the internet.
