Alia Bhatt: When the Heart of Stone team introduced my industry as Bollywood in a BTS video, I corrected them and said I represent the Indian Film Industry

Not just Bollywood, Alia Bhatt said that she represents the Indian Film Industry to the world. In an interview, the actress also added that for her cinema is like ‘magic’. She expressed her desire to be able to work as an actress for another 10 years. The actress has just completed shooting Heart of Stone with Gal Gadot and others and is currently busy promoting her film Darlings. The mom-to-be also talked about how her husband Ranbir Singh has been taking care of her. 

In an interview with Anandabazar Patrika, Alia Bhatt elaborated that during the shoot of a behind-the-scenes video at the sets of Heart of Stone, her industry was introduced as Bollywood. “I corrected them and said that I represent the Indian Film Industry,” she said. Alia also said that no other country has so much diversity in its entertainment industry as India. She also pointed out the wide range of languages in which films are made in this country. She added that she sees cinema as magic. 

Talking about her experience of working with Gal Gadot, Alia said that the Hollywood actress is humble and hardworking. She further added that the entire unit took good care of her. “I completed the shooting very fast,” said Alia, adding that while in India they do a 12-hour shift, in Hollywood, they used to go for a lunch break after a 10-hour-long shoot. She said that she liked the idea. 

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will soon become parents. In the interview, she said that Ranbir is taking good care of her. “I forget all my stress when Ranbir is around. He is my best friend,” she said. She also pointed out that Ranbir is a calm and composed actor. She also said that the actor is a storehouse of silent energy that he spreads across the set.
