Alicia Keys production 'Resort To Love' is ready to roll on Netflix, Watch the trailer

Giving you the perfect holiday movie this summer, Netflix dropped the trailer of the upcoming movie Resort To Love. The romantic comedy featuring actor Christiana Milian comes from popular singer Alicia Keys' production banner. The holiday movie is set to release on Netflix on July 29. The trailer, set in the backdrop of a picturesque tropical island with a full-on holiday mood, gives a glimpse of the story.

The upcoming Netflix original, as shown in the trailer, revolves around a pop artist Erica (played by Christina Milian), who after calling off her engagement with her boyfriend for four years and having a meltdown in her music career goes on to a tropical island for a vacation along with a gig. The vacation then turns into a chaotic mess when Erica finds out that she is there to sing at her ex-boyfriend's wedding. As she rekindles her feelings for her ex Jason (played by Jay Pharoah), Erica cannot help but have the hots for his sweet brother Caleb (played by Sinqua Walls). The romantic film is filled with hiccups along the journey.

Resort to Love features Christina Milian, Sinqua Walls, Jay Pharoah and others. The film is helmed by Steven K. Tsuchida with the script penned by Tabi McCartney and Dana Schmalenberg. The romantic comedy is produced by Alicia Keys' production label AK Worldwide in partnership with Identical Pictures Story Ink, and The Malina Yarn Company with Maggie Malina and Jeremy Kipp Walker working as producers for the label.

The upcoming Netflix Original will be Christina Milian's second venture with the stream, the first being Falling Inn Love which is available to stream on the platform.
