All That Breathes: Priyanka Chopra roots for Oscar-nominated Indian docu, Shaunak Sen can’t keep calm

Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes has been nominated at the 95th Academy Awards that is all set to take place on March 13. On February 7, 2023, the documentary was dropped on HBO. Hours after it had its digital premiere. Priyanka Chopra roots for the documentary. On her Instagram story, she congratulated the entire team of the documentary. 

Priyanka shared the poster of the film and wrote, “A story that gives a voice to ‘All That Breathes’ – what a magical movie.” She further added, “Congratulations to the entire team, and all the best! Let’s bring the Oscar home… (sic).” It is not just Priyanka Chopra, American director, comedian Judd Apatow too shared a note of appreciation on social media. “Incredible film. Beautiful and a must-watch!” he wrote. 

Evidently, Shaunak is elated. He shared the posts on his story and thanked both Priyanka and Judd. “I say with calm repose as if this is a regular thing,” he added with his share. 

Shaunak’s All that Breathes follows two brothers who dedicatedly run a kite hospital in Delhi. These birds often drop daily from New Delhi’s smog-choked skies. The documentary won the L’Oeil d’Or (Golden Eye) award for best documentary at the 75th Cannes Film Festival this year. The documentary has been bought by HBO. Earlier, Shaunak told us that he is keen to work on fiction – especially adaptation of literary work. “I am not at liberty to talk about anything now. But I am keen to work on fiction," he told us.
