All you need to know about Netflix's 'Geeked Week' Day 2

Netflix is currently holding its first-ever Geeked Week event, a week-long fan-facing event that began on June 7, aimed to give fans exclusive first looks and sneak peeks into upcoming releases and celebrate all things entertainment. The five-day event that will wrap up on June 11 will feature a plethora of exclusive news, trailers, behind-the-scenes, first look photos and much more. Audiences can catch The Geeked Week event for free on all the social media handles of Netflix including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

On the second day of the event, without losing any momentum, the streamer's lineup is jam-packed. The lineup for Day-2 includes popular shows like Sandman, season 3 of Umbrella Academy, Money Heist, and Cowboy Bebop.

The perfect mix of modern myth and dark fantasy seamlessly interwoven with contemporary fiction, historical drama, and legend, The Sandman travels around the people and places affected by Morpheus, the Dream King, as he tries to mend the cosmic and human mistakes he made during his long existence. The series consists of an ensemble cast featuring Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie and others.

The narrative, told in a real-time like fashion is filled with suspense, thrills and unexpected twists. With constantly changing emotional dynamics in the offset of a crime story, the series is narrated by a strong female character, Tokyo. During the Geeked event, Netflix released never-before-seen stills of Money Heist season 5.

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 episode titles revealed

The Umbrella Academy is a comic book superhero series created for Netflix by Steve Blackman and developed by Jeremy Slater. Based on the comic book series of the same name by Gerard Way, the show is set in a world where on one day in 1989, 43 women around the world give birth simultaneously, without showing any signs of pregnancy until labour began. Seven of those children were eventually adopted by eccentric billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who then turns the Hargreeves siblings into a superhero team that he calls The Umbrella Academy.

Locke and Key release month announcement along with new stills

Locke & Key is a supernatural horror drama series developed by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill, and Aron Eli Coleite, based on the comic book of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez. The show first premiered on Netflix on February 7, last year.

Locke & Key fans got the best surprise today as Netflix not only announced the release month for the new upcoming season but also shared new stills from the show. Season 2 of Locke & Key will be released in October of 2021.

Another Life first look trailer and fall 2021 release window

The American sci-fi drama series, Another Life is created by Aaron Martin. The series chronicling Astronaut Niko Breckinridge's journey searching the world for alien intelligence, features Katee Sackhoff, Selma Blair, Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson and others. The series that premiered in 2019 was renewed for a second season set to release on Netflix in the fall of 2021. On Day-2 of the Geeked Week, Netflix also gave fans a first look trailer of the upcoming show.
