Two cops try to uncover the secret, but all the members of the society have a darker side to them. Apart from this, here are a few more things you need to know about the show before it releases on June 11 on Zee5...

Cast

Sunil Grover, Ranvir Shorey, Ashish Vidyarthi and others are embroiled in a murder investigation in the eight-episode web series. Apart from them, the series also stars Mukul Chadda, Girish Kulkarni, Shonali Nagrani, Saloni Khanna among others.

Crew

The murder mystery has been written and co-directed by Vikas Bahl and Rahul Sengupta. ‘Sunflower’ is presented by Reliance Entertainment and Good Co. The series will premiere on ZEE5 on June 11, 2021. The movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.

Plot of the web series

Sunflower revolves around an ‘uncooperative’ society by the same name. The society is filled with quirky residents who have mysterious traits in common. The story follows its residents’ trying to make Sunflower the best housing society, until the entire society gets embroiled in a murder investigation. Ranvir and Girish, who play cops, are trying to uncover the layers of the mysterious murder.

Sunflower is filled with dark humour. It is backed up by interesting background music. Sunil would project an alter ego with a suspicious innocence. There’s something unappealing about Mukul Chadda’s character too. In short, Sunflower is laced with elements that have more to it than meets the eye.
