One of the sources close to the unit revealed to us that Atlee was in Hyderabad, and he, along with Allu Arjun, had a meeting with Netflix India bosses and closed the deal. There is news of this film being made into two parts, but the makers have not confirmed the same to date.
Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead in this film, which is backed by Sun Pictures. Allu Arjun is a massive star, and his reach goes quite deep across the globe, which is why Netflix has spent some unheard-of amounts to bag this deal, confirms one of the sources from the team.
