Actor Allu Arjun is undoubtedly one of the most famous stars from South India. He has become a household name across the country, especially after delivering the pan-Indian hit Pushpa: The Rise. The actor recently expressed his excitement over the launch of his wax statue at Madame Tussaud's Museum. It is to be noted that the museum is known to install wax statues of celebrities across the world.
On Thursday, Allu Arjun posted a picture on his social media handles and revealed that a wax statue of him is set to be launched at Madame Tussaud's Museum. He wrote, "It's a milestone for every actor.” Allu Arjun had posed along with the wax statue; both turned back, giving the signature Pushpa pose.
Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa: The Rise, a period action drama starring the actor in the titular lead role. The film features the actor as a red sanders smuggler who rises to become the kingpin of the trade. Pushpa is directed by Sukumar and also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
Pushpa: The Rule, a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, is set to be released in theatres on August 15. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa: The Rise was a darling of the 69th National Film Awards. The film bagged two awards: Best Actor for Allu Arjun and Best Music Direction for Devi Sri Prasad. It became one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2021.

A sequel for the film is in the making, titled Pushpa: The Rule. Actor Fahadh Faasil, who made a cameo appearance in the post-credits of the first film, is expected to be the antagonist in the sequel and will have a much bigger role. While the production for the sequel is ongoing, it is also to be noted that the third part of the Pushpa franchise has been confirmed. It is expected that shooting for the third part will begin in 2025.
