Allu Arjun opens up on working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga; reports hint at a unique title

There was a lot of anxiety surrounding Allu Arjun’s upcoming films and director post his success with the action-thriller franchise Pushpa, helmed by Sukumar. While Pushpa performed well in Telugu, it surprised trade pundits by resonating with audiences in several Hindi speaking belts besides other South Indian states. Expectedly, his forthcoming project, to go on floors much after Pushpa 2, will be a pan-Indian film, directed by Kabir Singh maker Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

The aforementioned film was formally confirmed earlier this week and will be jointly produced by Bhadrakali Pictures and T-Series. The director will move onto this project after he wraps up Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and Prabhas starrer Spirit. Thrilled with the response from fans for this collaboration, Allu Arjun shared his excitement in a tweet earlier today.

“Been looking forward for this combination for quite some time now. @imvangasandeep garu’s magic is something that personally touches me . Hopefully we give a memorable film that will be remembered for a long long time. Thank you #BhushanKumar ji & @TSeries for making this magic happen,” the Gangothri, Ala Vaikunthapurramulo star wrote across two tweets.

For the unversed, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s debut film, Arjun Reddy, was first offered to Allu Arjun and the latter reportedly had some reservations about the script. Meanwhile, multiple news portals have suggested that the makers are considering the title Bhadrakali for their combo, incidentally the name of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s home banner as well.

The female lead and the crew are yet to be formally announced for the project. Allu Arjun is believed to have okayed multiple films that are to be helmed by Surender Reddy, Trivikram and AR Murugadoss. Either Surender Reddy or Trivikram is expected to direct his immediate project after Pushpa 2.
