Allu Arjun to play both hero and villain in Atlee’s next; massive shoot plans underway

Now, the latest update is that the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo star will play both the hero and the villain. According to reports, one of those characters will belong to a parallel universe. Atlee has designed special roles for Allu Arjun, and one of them is the negative character, which leads to a war-like situation in the film.

A few top-notch VFX companies from Hollywood are working on this project, which is being produced by Sun Pictures. As the Pushpa star will be seen in different looks, he has started working out and has hired a special trainer to achieve the required transformation.

A source close to the unit has revealed that pre-production will take a few more months, and by then, Allu Arjun will be in peak shape. The latest buzz is that the shooting of the film will kick off in November or December 2025. Most of the shoot will take place in Chennai, and preparations are already underway.

The casting is nearly finalized, with none other than Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur likely to play the female leads in this biggie. A test shoot was recently held at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai, where Allu Arjun tried out different looks for the film. Word is that the team will reconvene in the last week of May to resume the test shoot.
