Allu Arjun unveils the trailer of Raja Goutham’s survival thriller Break Out

Veteran actor-comedian Brahmanandam’s son Raja Goutham is on a comeback trail. Raja Goutham, who debuted with Suchitra Chandrabose’s directorial Pallakilo Pellikuthuru, worked in films like Basanthi, Manu later. He’ll next be seen in a survival thriller Break Out, written and directed by Subbu Cherukuri and bankrolled by Anil Moduga under Anil Moduga Films.

Pushpa actor Allu Arjun unveiled the trailer of Break Out on Monday. The two-minute long trailer introduces us to a protagonist who experiences the fear of being alone - monophobia. One fine day, he miraculously gets stuck in a garage that gets locked and there’s none to help him bail out of a tricky situation. When he calls his friends for help too, he earns a hostile response.

Break Out is all about a character battling his inner demons and how his fears affect his outlook towards life. This is certainly an interesting attempt at the survival thriller genre - the film promises to offer a glimpse of the character’s psychology and discuss the root of his problems. Ananda Chakrapani, G Bala, Kireeti Damaraju, Chitram Seenu and Ramana Bhargav play key roles too.

Survival thrillers, as a genre, has been rarely explored in Telugu cinema and Break Out has all the ingredients to make for a spine-chilling viewing experience. Raja Goutham has taken it upon himself to try something out of the box. Though his previous film Manu may have tanked at the box office, his performance earned rave reviews. The actor this time too has taken the road less travelled.

The film is co-produced by Bala Krishna Konduri and Srinivas Vanniyakula. Mohan Chary is the cinematographer of the film while MS Jones Rupert is the composer. Arjun-Basava are the editors for the same and ‘TheRevengerz’ is the chief editor. Koyylamudi Rakesh and Sai Maneendhar Reddy are the art director and the sound designer respectively. Raj Pavan Kommoju of Irendri Studios take care of the VFX portions.
