Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat teaser: Karan Mehta-Alaya F promise intense love story in Anurag Kashyap’s film

The teaser of Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat is out now. The promo features Karan Mehta and Alaya F in an intense love story. The movie introduces Karan to films.

The promo brings the tagline ‘Mohabbat se hi toh kranti aayegi’ alive. The dialogues by Karan, including Gulzar’s ‘Humne Dekhi Hai Un Ankhon Ki,’ only add to the premise of the film.

Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat premiered at the Marrakech Film Festival. The movie features Alaya in the role of a school girl. Reportedly, the movie talks about homophobia among other topics.

Anurag had once shared that Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat is inspired from conversations with his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap. The film sees Alaya F’s character madly in love with Karan’s. He ends up in tears by the end of the promo while she gives him a hug.

The film’s music is composed by Amit Trivedi. It is Amit and Anurag’s second collaboration since Dev D in 2009. The songs from this movie are yet to release.

Produced by Zee Studios, Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat is scheduled to release in theatres on February 3, 2023. The movie’s OTT release date and platform are yet to be announced.
