Alone: Teaser of Mohanlal's film released on his birthday and it looks gripping, Watch!

Here's some exciting news for the fans of Mohanlal. On his birthday, the actor released a teaser for his upcoming film, Alone, which is directed by Shaji Kailas. The 45-second long teaser shows the actor all in white, performing what looks like karate or some form of martial arts. In a voice-over, he says, "Real heroes are always alone." The music adds to the already intense and gripping drama.

At the end of the video clip, the makers have also unveiled a poster where Mohanlal, as he says in the video, appears to be a lone warrior. The actor shared the video on his social media, captioning it: "Alone official teaser." 

The script of the movie is by Rajesh Jayaraman. The film marks the collaboration between Mohanlal and the director Shaji Kailas again after 12 years. The two have previously worked on seven movies together, which include the hit films, Aaram Thamburan and Narasimham.   

Alone is a single-actor movie and will have only Mohanlal in it. It is an experimental venture from the duo. Speaking earlier to OTTplay, the actor said he found the film interesting when he first heard it and since it does not have too many actors and just him, they decided to produce the film themselves. He calls it intriguing and a great thriller. "A lot of other characters come through phone calls. It’s a story that happens during the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said. However, he is not yet sure where the film will have its release.  

Meanwhile, Mohanlal's recent film 12th Man is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. He is currently shooting for Vysakh’s Monster. He also has Mission Konkan in the pipeline. The film is directed by VA Shrikumar Menon.
