The Mazaka actor, Rao Ramesh, plays a middle-aged father who suddenly receives a huge sum of money credited to his account and goes crazy. Who sent the money and the backstory are showcased hilariously by the director.

Ankit Koyya also played a key role in the film, and his chemistry with Rao Ramesh was one of the biggest highlights. Indragaja of Jabardasth fame played Rao Ramesh's wife, and noted social media sensation Ramya Pasupuleti made her film debut with Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam.

Thanks to its clean comedy, Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam garnered a lot of views on Aha. Now that the film is available on Amazon Prime Video, its reach is expected to grow further.
