Alpha: Alia Bhatt and Sharvari to begin shooting on THIS date in Kashmir

Alpha starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari has been gaining attention ever since it was announced. The duo will be seen in the YRF spy thriller as never-before-seen avatars. After a report mentioned that Hrithik Roshan will have a cameo appearance in the film, a new update has come to light about the shooting. 

Details about Alpha shooting 

Dainik Bhaskar reported that Alia Bhatt and Sharvari will commence shooting in Kashmir from August 24 onwards. As per the source, the team has 'meticulously planned the action sequences.'

"The first major action sequence will pit Sharvari's character against Bobby Deol's, promising to be a visual spectacle," as per the report. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan's character, Kabir, will mentor Alia's character.

The report further mentioned that both Alia and Sharvari have undergone rigorous training to embody their roles as fearless agents. Bhatt's character in Alpha is a multi-layered one, spanning several years. Her character is challenging yet exciting. 

More about Hrithik Roshan's cameo appearance in Alpha 

The above-mentioned portal revealed that in YRF's first edition of the female spy universe, Hrithik will be seen in a brief appearance as Kabir from War. For the uninitiated, War is also a part of the YRF spy universe.

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor will also be seen in a pivotal role. The source revealed that while Anil's character is undergoing a physical transformation, Bobby Deol's involvement in the Kashmir schedule is still under wraps. 

Announcement of Alpha

On July 5, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari shared the first teaser of Alpha with a collaborative post on their social media. 

In the teaser, Alia shared what Alpha means. She said, “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar, aur hamari program ka motto. Sabse pehle, sabse tez. Sabse veer. Dhyan se dekho toh har sahar mein ek jungle hein. Aur jungle mein humesha raaj karega… Alpha (The first letter in the Greek alphabet, and the motto of our program. The first, and the fastest. The bravest. Pay attention and every city is like a jungle. The one who will rule that jungle is… Alpha).”

Meanwhile, Alpha is being produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Shiv Rawail.
