Alpha starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari is one of the most-awaited films of 2025. The Yash Raf Films' Spy Universe film is a female-led film, and it has been garnering significant buzz ever since it was announced by the makers. The lead actors also shared pictures of themselves shooting for the film on social media, building excitement. Recently, a report suggested that Manushi Chhillar is all set to be a part of Alpha, but as per Pinkvilla, it is untrue.
Manushi Chhillar not part of Alpha
A few days ago, Box Office Worldwide reported that Manushi Chhillar is a part of Alpha and is expected to do acrobatics in the film. However, as per a new Pinkvilla report, Manushi is not a part of the film. This means Alia Bhatt and Sharvari will lead the film.

About Alpha
Alpha is a YRF Spy Universe film starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. It is the first female-led installment in the popular franchise. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film aims to tell the story of two female super agents dealing with a high-stakes world of espionage, action, and suspense. However, the details of the plot are under wraps.
Meanwhile, Alpha will feature Anil Kapoor as the head of R&AW (Research and Operations Wing). Bobby Deol will reportedly play the antagonist’s role. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan's Agent Kabir will reportedly have a crossover in the film. He will be seen playing the part of Alia and Sharvari’s mentor.
Sharvari on Alpha
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Sharvari opened up about Alpha. Calling it an exciting project, the Vedaa actress said, "I am really looking forward to bringing this film to the theatres, especially because it is the first spy universe film with two women that is leading it. It truly is the first women's action film. And I think that it will break a lot of glass ceilings."
Meanwhile, Alpha will hit theaters on December 25, 2025.
