Amala Paul transforms into a stubborn cop, here's a glimpse of Durga in Kudi Yedamaithe

With every promo, the buzz surrounding Amala Paul, Rahul Vijay-starrer Kudi Yedamaithe, aha's Telugu web show to release on July 16, is amplifying by the day. Directed by Pawan Kumar, the show is a sci-fi crime thriller revolving around the lives of a cop named Durga and a delivery boy Aadhi, who experience the same day time and again. Earlier in the day, the streaming platform aha had released a character promo of Durga from Kudi Yedamaithe.

In the promo, Durga a.k.a Amala Paul is seen discussing the significance of the date February 29, 2020. She introduces herself as a married woman and a CI who has been working at the Khairtabad Police Station for nearly nine years. Durga admits to being a loner all her life, more so as an escape mechanism from her challenges and the fact that it wouldn't let anyone question her choices. The glimpse ends on a mysterious note with a kidnapping of a child. 

Kudi Yedamaithe is Amala Paul's second web series in Telugu after Pitta Kathalu alongside Jagapathi Babu, where she was seen in the short directed by Nandini Reddy. The show is U-Turn, Lucia director Pawan Kumar's second web outing after Leila for Netflix, created by globally acclaimed filmmaker Deepa Mehta. Raj Madiraju, Padmini Settam, Surya Sreenivas and Eeshwar Rachiraju play other roles in Kudi Yedamaithe.
