Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra are gearing up for the release of their film, Amar Singh Chamkila. While Diljit Dosanjh plays the titular role in the Imtiaz Ali film, Parineeti will be seen as his on-screen wife Amarjot Kaur. The film is set for an OTT release on Netflix on April 12, 2024. Before the film's premiere, Diljit and his team have been sharing unseen stills from the set of Imtiaz's directorial venture. The new still features Diljit and Parineeti flashing their million-dollar smiles.

Diljit Dosanjh's team shared an unseen picture of the actor with his co-star Parineeti Chopra from the set of Amar Singh Chamkila. The still features Diljit and Parineeti smiling while they pose with a co-star for a photo. If you haven't seen the new photo yet, check it out right below.

A few days ago, Parineeti Chopra shared the photos they recreated for Amar Singh Chamkila. While sharing on the gram, the actress wrote, "Diljit and I had the privilege of playing the role of two legends who changed the music landscape in India… recreating their famous images in the film and seeing them again today gives me goosebumps (sic)."

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, director Imtiaz Ali admitted that he was initially unsure of casting Diljit Dosanjh as Amar Singh Chamkila in his film. "I thought he might not be able to do it, etc. So I didn’t approach him in the beginning, but it’s a little later that I did, the moment I spoke to him, it was just like a different chapter," he told the entertainment portal.

Meanwhile, on The Ranveer Show, Diljit Dosanjh said he used to feel the late Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila's energy on the film set. The actor recalled that they shot for the film at the same place where Amar Singh Chamkila was killed. Diljit added that Imtiaz filmed the movie at the same spot where Chamkila fell when he was shot.
