Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos engaged to girlfriend Lauren Sanchez: Reports

Love is in the air! If reports are to be believed, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Emmy award winning news anchor Lauren Sanchez are in love and have reported taken their relationship to the next level.

As per a report published by news portal Page Six, “Amazon head Jeff Bezos and his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez, are engaged.”

The report adds that the celebrity couple is currently in France for the Cannes Film Festival, where they have been staying on Bezos’s $500 million yacht. Unlike previous years, this festival is being attended by a huge number of Indian celebrities including Guneet Monga, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Manushi Chhillar, Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Varma, and Urvashi Rautela to name a few.

Some viral photos of Bezos and Sanchez are also going viral on Twitter. Reportedly, someone papped them in their yacht where the two reportedly got engaged. Sanchez, 53, was seen with a diamond on her ring finger.

“Lauren Sanchez showed off her 20-carat engagement ring while on Jeff Bezos' $500 million yacht. The ring cost roughly about $2.5 million (or around Rs 20 crores),” Page Six reported.

The couple began dating in the year 2018 and their bond is growing stronger with each passing day. However, no official statement has been released by the couple yet.

Speaking about the past, Bezos was married to businesswoman MacKenzie Scott for 25 years. They have four children. It is believed that things got ugly in their relationship following which they decided to get divorced in 2019. As per a report published in Money Control, Scott’s share of the financial settlement was valued at $38.3 billion, making her one of the wealthiest people in the world.

Later, Scott married schoolteacher Dan Jewett in 2021 and filed for divorce a year later.
