Amazon Prime Video announces The Family Man 2 trailer release date

The giant announcement is here! We have now come to know the release date of The Family Man 2. Amazon Prime Video recently released a poster of the series, announcing that the trailer will drop on May 19. The much-awaited spy-thriller web series will start streaming from June 4.

The OTT giant shared the poster on their social media handles. It featured the reported antagonist Samantha Akkineni and the lead protagonist Srikant aka Manoj Bajpayee. The caption on the poster read, “Kal kuch aisa hone wala hai jiske baare mein hum soch bhi nahi sakte.” It was followed by a blowing head emoji, after which came the grand announcement. “Trailer out tomorrow! #TheFamilyManOnPrime,” read the post, thus finally putting an end to all speculations.

The Family Man 2 has also assembled the cast of Sharad Kelkar, Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Gul Panag, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, N Alagamperumal, Sunny Hinduja, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha, Devadarshini Chetan, Mahek Thakur, Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay and Anandsami.

In an early interview with LetsOTT, the show's creators Raj and DK had said, "In the second season, the story moves towards a region where we wanted a Tamil actor. We were debating about a bunch of actors, and then Samantha’s one call did it for me. It is because of the extreme conviction that she had; she was the one who convinced us that she could pull it off. I was trying to ask her whether she could actually do it, but she was very sure about it. If the actor shows it, we better take it."

Manoj also shared the poster on Twitter captioning it, “Our excitement level is 11/10. Yours? #TheFamilyManOnPrime Summer is here, and so is #TheFamilyManOnPrime Trailer out tomorrow.”
