Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai is out in theatres and the audiences are able to relive the magic of Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta's on-screen chemistry with the movie. At the very time, Preity has shared that she is also a part of Hrithik's important upcoming project, The Roshans. While the major focus of the docu-series will obviously be on the Roshan family, Ameesha confirms that she also has a role to play.
Ameesha confirmed to News18 that she is a part of The Roshans. "In my own little way, I’m a little part of it too. How can I not be? I’m a part of Hrithik’s journey," she said. The news comes at a time when her and Hrithik’s debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai is back in theatres and receiving the love it originally did in 2000.
Ameesha revealed that Hrithik kept a lot of patience with her during their Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai days. She was an outsider with no knowledge of how the film industry works, while he grew up in it. So, he helped her throughout, even with costume trials. With it, Ameesha believes they are more friends than co-stars, even today.
The actress also recalled how she is so close to 'The Roshans' that Rakesh Roshan felt really proud with Gadar 2 success, since he had neither taken her screen test or audition for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. Hrithik, she reveals, calls her 'heroine' till date, because she is the first heroine he has worked with. "For me, he'll always be Duggu and Rakesh uncle be Guddu uncle," she said.
Apart from The Roshan family (obviously), the docu-series The Roshans will also feature Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Javed Akhtar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ranbir Kapoor, Asha Bhosle and Preity Zinta.
