What's happening with Vidaa Muyarchi?
Speculators were rife about Lyca Productions dropping Vidaa Muyarchi over some differences with director Magizh Thirumeni. It's noteworthy that Lyca, which has a movie deal with Ajith, earlier fired director Vignesh Shivan from the project as the company was not satisfied with the final script. And Magizh Thirumeni was brought in to make the movie with Ajith. As the script work took longer than expected to complete, it led to rumours about Vidaa Muyarchi being shelved.
Recently, at the audio release event of Chandramukhi 2, Lyca rubbished the rumours and confirmed that the project was very much still in the works. It also termed Vidaa Muyarchi as the company's "prestigious project."
