Jr NTR, Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravaani and the RRR team are back to India after attending the Oscars ceremony, where Naatu Naatu did the unthinkable by winning an award in the Best Original Song category. While Jr NTR made his first appearance after the Oscars win at Das Ka Dhamki’s pre-release event, Ram Charan was in Delhi to attend a conclave organised by a popular media house.

During his brief stay in Delhi, Ram Charan was invited by central minister Amit Shah for a special meeting. The RRR star was accompanied by his father Chiranjeevi for the same. Amit Shah, congratulating the entire the film’s team for the Oscars win, felicitated Ram Charan with a shawl during the meeting. Chiranjeevi took to Twitter to share his excitement on Friday.

“Thank you Shri @AmitShah ji for your Hearty Wishes & Blessings to @AlwaysRamCharan on behalf of Team #RRR for a successful Oscar Campaign & bringing home the First ever Oscar for an Indian Production! Thrilled to be present on this occasion! #NaatuNaatu #Oscars95 @ssrajamouli,” Chiranjeevi tweeted, expressing his happiness.

Another central minister Anurag Thakur honoured Chiranjeevi as well. “Thank you very much Sri @ianuragthakur for honoring me with the traditional Himachali Topi & Shawl from your home state, on my visit to Delhi today! Delighted!” The veteran star returned to form this year with the blockbuster Waltair Veerayya, directed by Bobby Kolli, that released for Sankranthi.

Chiranjeevi is currently shooting for Bholaa Shankar, the Telugu remake of Ajith’s Vedalam, helmed by Meher Ramesh, which also stars Keerthy Suresh, Tamannaah. Ram Charan, meanwhile, will next be seen in RC15, directed by Shankar, produced by Dil Raju, slated to release later this year. He has also signed Buchi Babu Sana’s sports drama, which is expected to go on floors soon.
