On October 11, Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 81st birthday in the presence of his family members namely, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, and Jaya Bachchan. Numerous pictures of the celebrations went viral online. It appeared that the megastar was celebrating his day to the fullest. However, this was not true. Today, Big B disclosed that he was irritated as he had a poor mobile signal on his birthday.
What did Amitabh Bachchan say?
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan complained today that he had poor mobile connectivity on his birthday, following which he was unable to reply to plenty of messages and calls on his phone. He even apologized to those whom he had not replied to.
Taking to microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter) today, Amitabh wrote, “T 4801 (i) - 11 Oct | Many people sent greetings on my birthday via SMS, but they were surprised that I did not reply. I apologize. In the service provider I use, neither the signal comes properly, nor is any information received, despite complaining. So, to all those who did not get my reply, I want to say, please forgive me and: ‘Your lovely blessings mean my good fortune’.”
Lakhs of Twitter users have liked Amitabh Bachchan’s post. Some die-heart fans of the actor even tagged Airtel India, Jio Care, and Vodafone Idea to look into the matter.

On Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday, his grandaugher Shweta Bachchan Nanda on Instagram wrote, "Happy 81st Papa. Big shoes (and hugs) no one can ever manage to fill." Soon after this post surfaced online, Shweta's friends and colleagues also greeted the Bollywood megastar on his day.
