Hours after his surgery and getting discharge from the hospital, a video of Amitabh Bachchan is going viral. This clip suggests that the actor is at the ongoing Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) Finals match. Amitabh was seen with his son Abhishek Bachchan. They were seen bonding with Sachin Tendulkar at the match. The video has left netizens confused but also surprised.

The clip

Amitabh Bachchan was seen in his white hoodie with black pants. Abhishek was twinning in a white shirt and denims. Sachin donned a monochrome striped t-shirt with black pants. The trio were watching the match, chilled despite the situation (Big B just coming out of surgery and at the match).

Same day of Amitabh Bachchan’s surgery and discharge

Amitabh Bachchan underwent a surgery earlier in the day. Doctors removed a blood clot from his leg, which, according to surgeons, could have led to a heart attack or stroke if left untreated. He was discharged from the Mumbai hospital by afternoon and the owner of Majhi Mumbai team came to overlook the match.

Taimur and Saif also at the match

Saif Ali Khan was also spotted at the match with his baby boy Taimur Ali Khan. They donned the Tigers of Kolkata jersey to root for their team (owned by Saif) at the finals being held at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane.

About the finals

Majhi Mumbai and Tigers of Kolkata reached finals by beating Chennai Singams and Srinagar Ke Veer respectively. While Mumbai beat Chennai by 58 runs, Kolkata reached the finale by five wickets.

The other teams in ISPL 2024 apart from Majhi Mumbai, Tigers of Kolkata, Chennai Singams and Srinagar Ke Veer include Falcon Risers Hyderabad and Bangalore Strikers. Commenced in 2021 after a talent hunt in Dharavi’s slum, ISPL aims to help poor athletes get recognition and a shot at professional cricket.
