Amitabh Bachchan is going to make his debut in the Gujarati cinema with Anand Pandit’s film, Fakt Mahilao Maate. The movie stars Yash Soni in the lead role. Big B even shared the latest promo from the film on his page.

The movie, Fakt Mahilao Maate, is about a man gaining special powers – telephathic powers. Yash’s character Chintan is blessed with telepathy which allows him to read everything that women think.

Watch the promo video here:

Amitabh Bachchan has a voiceover in the film. However, his role is not limited to that. He also has a special appearance in the film. This role is expected to come at a time that it changes Chintan’s life for good.

It is to be noted that Amitabh Bachchan and Anand Pandit had collaborated for the critically acclaimed film, Chehre. The movie was their second collaboration after Sarkar 3.

Meanwhile, Fakt Mahilao Maate sees Chintan make the most of his telepathic powers. Born in a household where women would never speak their mind and constantly fight because of that, Chintan comes as a saviour (or does he?) as he can read thoughts and understand what every woman feels and wishes to convey.

In fact, Chintan, who was often lacking in the financial department in life, found this to be an effective way to make money. He would pass on information to other men about their girlfriends and wives. How far can this go though? The movie will tell.

Fakt Mahilao Maate releases in theatres on August 19. The film’s OTT release date or platform have not been announced yet.
