Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is taking it easy when it comes to professional duties following his injury and is on the road to recovery. The actor suffered rib and toe injuries while filming Prabhas' upcoming big-budget movie, and it appears that the entire project's shooting schedule has been delayed in order to allow Big B to recover.

Amitabh Bachchan has been recovering slowly and laboriously ever since he became inured on the sets of Nag Aswin's futuristic drama Project K, according to the uninitiated. According to media reports, the film's filming will continue to be postponed indefinitely while Bib B waits for a medical clearance for his injury.

In a quote to Times Of India, a source close to the development from Hyderabad said, “It is still not clear how long it would take Bachchan saab to resume normal shooting, and the director (Nag Ashwin) and producers (Vyjayanthi Movies) are in no hurry. They are putting no pressure on Bachchan saab to resume shooting. They will wait for as long as it takes. But it is unlikely now that Project K will make its January 2024 release date.”

As they wait for Amitabh's recuperation, it appears that Prabhas and Deepika Padukone have rescheduled their Project K dates.

Amitabh Bachchan previously talked openly about the injuries he sustained while filming Project K. He spoke out on his blog about the incident, writing, “And it needs to be told, not be held. In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured, rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage, canceled the shoot, did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home."
