Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati is coming to an end. The quiz show, hosted by the legend, will be on TV for one more week before it comes back with a new season. KBC is currently in its 17th season. Special guests are scheduled to appear on the show in the coming week. This includes Agasthya Nanda, Mona Singh and more celebrities. ‘Jassi’ Mona Singh’s homecoming, Mithila Palkar tests Amitabh Bachchan’s Marathi skills
Mona Singh calls it ‘homecoming’ for her since Jassi has come back. The actress had gained fame in her career with the TV channel’s show, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, co-starring Apurva Agnihotri.
Next up, Mithila Palkar tests Amitabh Bachchan’s Marathi skills by asking him to translate, “Vaat Laagli.” She was seen on the quiz show with Sharib Hashmi, who could only grin after hearing the words. On hearing her, Amitabh Bachchan responded with, “Meri lagi hui hai na vaat.” His reply left them all, including Vir Das and Mona Singh, in splits.

Kiku Sharda’s comic banter, Ikkis actor Agastya Nanda gets candid with grandfather
Big B was seen singing Rang Barse from the very famous KBC hot seat, while Kiku Sharda in a character, danced to the same. Kiku put up a comic act for the megastar.
Agastya Nanda promoted his movie Ikkis on the show with his sister Navya Nanda Naveli and mother Shweta Bachchan. He went on to spill some inside gossip about his ‘nana.’ “Yahan pe alag rehte hai. Ghar pe kaafi serious hai,” Agastya spilled. This left senior Bachchan questioning him by stating, ‘huh?’ Agastya clarified that he cannot see the fun side of his grandfather at home and thus, he is enjoying himself a lot on KBC 17. Jaideep Ahlawat, who is also a part of Ikkis as one of the leads, couldn’t help but laugh at the banter with the grandfather and grandson.
KBC 17 comes to an end
Towards the end of the promo, Amitabh Bachchan was left teary-eyed since a local singing group performed the theme song of KBC for the last episode of the season. “Inhi yaadon aur muskurahaton ke beech aapko chodh ke jaane ka samay aa gaya hai,” Amitabh Bachchan said towards the end of the promo.
KBC 17, streaming on SonyLIV (OTTplay Premium), will end on Friday, January 9, 2026. The next season of the quiz show could also be back within a few months, but for now, it is a warm goodbye from the season soon.
