Amitabh Bachchan's reaction to Kamal Haasan being a part of Project K: ‘Great working with you again’

It’s official! Megastar Kamal Haasan, 68, is all set to feature in Amitabh Bachchan-Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer Project K. Vyjayanthi Movies, the production house of the movie, confirmed the development today morning.

With this announcement, the makers of the movie also shared a short glimpse of the movie in video format. In the video, the power of breathtaking music can be felt. Not only this, but the video also shows the power of bringing two megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan together on screen.

Commenting on the development, Amitabh Bachchan, 80, couldn’t control his happiness and said, “Welcome Kamal .. great working with you again .. it’s been a while!”

Interestingly, Kamal Haasan’s contributions to the film industry have often been praised by his contemporaries including Amitabh Bachchan. Both Kamal and Amitabh have worked together in numerous projects including a 1985 drama film titled, Geraftaar.

Superstar Prabhas, who will also play a pivotal role in Project K, also felt elated and welcomed his role model, Kamal Haasan with warmth and love. In an Instagram post today, Prabhas said, “A moment that will be etched in my heart forever. Honored beyond words to collaborate with the legendary @ikamalhaasan sir in #ProjectK. The opportunity to learn and grow alongside such a titan of cinema is a dream come true moment.”

About Project K

Project K is an upcoming film written and directed by popular filmmaker Nag Ashwin. It is produced by C. Aswani Dutt, under Vyjayanthi Movies. This film has a stellar cast and includes actors namely Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.

It is not yet known when the film is slated to be released and whether it will go for a theatrical release or an OTT one.
