As it is Mother's Day, several announcements have been made by filmmakers on this special day, but one video has gone viral in no time, a song titled Amma from the film Friday. What makes this song particularly special is that it was launched by none other than the Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Vangalapudi Anitha.
The song is a tribute to all mothers who selflessly serve their families without expecting any reward. Sung by noted actress Snigdha Nayani, the song features powerful lyrics and beautifully conveys the value of mothers in today's world. From the composition to the melody, Amma is soothing in every aspect. Parjwal Kirsh composed the music, keeping the arrangement light and allowing the lyrics to take center stage.
The visuals are equally touching, portraying a mother tenderly caring for her son. Inaya Sultana plays the female lead in this film, which is directed by Eswar. Speaking at the launch event, Inaya remarked that a mother endures immense emotional pain when her son joins the army, especially if he sacrifices his life. She emphasized that this song is a heartfelt tribute to the mothers of Indian soldiers.
Director Eshwar Babu, who previously made 1948 Akhand Bharath, a film that unfortunately did not perform well at the box office, is back with Friday, a project with a compelling premise. The film explores the emotional journey of a woman during her pregnancy, the challenges she faces, and how she confronts external pressures.
Friday also features Diya Raj, Rihana, Snigdha Nayani, Naveen, Vikas Vasishta, and Rohith Boddapati in key roles. The makers have yet to finalize the release date. More updates about the film will be shared soon.
