Ammy Virk’s movies are the most loved Punjabi films of 2022. The actor appeared in Aaja Mexico Challiye, Saunkan Saunkne, Sher Bagga, Baajre Da Sitta, Laung Laachi 2 and Oye Makhna. Two of the movies made it to top three.

The two films are Saunkan Saunkne and Aaja Mexico Challiye. They are the first and the second most loved Punjabi films of the year. Saunkan Saunkne also earned the most this year, even internationally. Meanwhile, Aaja Mexico Challiye received a lukewarm response at the Box Office but the performances were appreciated.

Ormax Media has unveiled the list of the most loved Punjabi movies of 2022. The movies are the theatrical releases of the year.

Gurnam Bhullar’s superhit film Lekh made it to top three. The actor also appeared in Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya with Sargun Mehta but the film did not make it to top five.

The biggest surprise this year was in Jasmin Bhasin’s Punjabi movie debut in Honeymoon. Starring Gippy Grewal in the lead role, this film was hugely appreciated both in theatres and on OTT.

Diljit Dosanjh was the most loved Punjabi actor but his movie made it last among top five. The actor appeared in just one film – Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne – which is the fifth most loved Punjabi film of 2022.

While Amrinder Gill also made it to the list of the top five most loved Punjabi actors, he did not deliver a movie in 2022. Thus, he did not make it to this list.
