A few days ago, actress Amy Jackson was trending big time on the Internet. The Ekk Deewana Tha actress hit the headlines for her transformed look. While some netizens compared her to Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy, the rest trolled the actress for her transformation. Now, in an interview, Jackson has finally reacted to harsh comments on her photos and the comparisons with Cillian.

Amy Jackson on her new look

Speaking with ETimes, Amy Jackson opened up about the reason behind her new look. "I’m an actor and I take my job very seriously. For the last month, I’ve been filming a new project in the UK. So, for the character I am playing, I had to slim down and fully commit myself to the role," she said.

About getting trolled and receiving harsh comments, Amy added, "The online outcry from the (mainly male) Indian demographic is quite sad. I’ve worked with male co-stars who had to drastically change their look for a film, and they were highly praised for it. The moment a woman does it through unusual hair and makeup which doesn’t conform to their idealism of beauty, they think they have the right to troll you.'

Further, the actress also broke her silence on being compared to the Oppenheimer star. "I’m over the moon. He’s chiselled perfection! I’ll get my flat cap and Brummie (Birmingham) accent ready for a Peaky Blinders comeback," said Jackson as she sportingly took the comparisons. For the unaware, Amy had posted her new transformation photos on social media.
